Step 3: Power off your phone.
Step 4: Boot your Samsung Galaxy M10 into Download Mode aka Odin Mode. For doing that, press and hold Volume Down key + Power Button simultaneously.
Leave both the keys as soon as you see a warning message on the screen.

Step 7: Download Odin3-v3.13.1 on PC.
Step 8: Launch the downloaded ‘Odin Multi Downloader3-v3.13.1′ tool.
Now we will verify whether your device is successfully connected to PC or not. For that, check the ID: COM section in the Odin window is turned light blue or not. Also check if an Added message is appeared in the message box window or not.
Note: If such thing does not happen then it’s more likely to be problem with Samsung USB drivers. Hence re-install the USB drivers from the links given in Pre-Requisites section. If the problem still persists, then change USB cable or PC.
Step 9: Tick the Auto Reboot and F.Reset Time options under Options tab. Do not check any other box.
Now we will add firmware files in the Odin window.
Step 10: So click on the BL button present on the Odin window and select the ‘BL_M105FDDU1ASA7_CL15095373_QB21606552_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.md5’ from the firmware package file.

Note: HOME_CSC contains instruction that allows Odin to only wipe cache while Normal CSC contains an instruction to wipe out complete data. But when a downgrade is done (example: from Oreo back to Nougat) a factory reset is must. So use normal CSC at that time.
Step 13: Lastly tap on the AP button and select the ‘AP_M105FDDU1ASA7_CL15095373_QB21606552_REV00_user_low_ship_meta_RKEY.tar.md5’ file.

This will initiate the Android 8.1.0 Oreo firmware flashing process.
Note: Your phone will automatically boot itself. It is recommended to not disconnect your device from PC.
