Procedure to install Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean XXUANF1 firmware on Samsung Galaxy Star Pro Duos S7262
Step 1: Download and extract both the above files in a specific folder on your PC. You can use Winrar to extract the same.
Step 2: Next completely switch off your Galaxy Star Pro Duos until it vibrates.
Step 3: You need to boot the phone into downloading mode now. For the same, keep pressing and holding ‘Home Button (middle button) + Volume down key + Power Button’ simultaneously until you see a warning message. Leave all the three keys now.
Step 4: Keeping the phone as it is, connect it to the PC using the USB cable. Now just press Volume Up to continue. This will directly land you into downloading mode.
Step 5: Launch ‘Odin Multi Downloader3-v3.09′ software which you’ve just got after extraction. As soon as you open it, the ID: COM section in it (located at the top left corner) will turn blue. Also, an Added message will appear in the message window. This will confirm that your device has been successfully connected to the PC.
Note: But if it doesn’t turn blue then it’s more likely to be a problem with the device drivers. Immediately check whether you’ve properly installed the device-specific drivers on your PC or not. You can install them via Samsung Kies or manually install them from the links given above.
Step 6: Next tick the Auto Reboot option and F.Reset option located on the Odin window. Do not tick or un-tick any other option.
Step 7: Now, tick against the ‘AP’ button and navigate to the firmware package & select it (The extracted firmware file may look like: S7262XXUANF1_S7262ODDANF1_INU.tar.md5). Wait till Odin verifies the md5 hash.
Step 8: Initiate the process by pressing the Start button located on the Odin window. You’ll notice that the phone automatically reboots itself while going through the process.
Step 9: As soon as it completes successfully, you’ll see that the ID: COM section on the Odin window is turned green with the message ‘Pass’ below it. This will confirm that Official Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean XXUANF1 firmware is successfully installed on your Galaxy Star Pro Duos. Now you can disconnect your phone by safely removing the USB cable.
Note: If the process fails, then close the Odin window, again go into download mode and repeat everything.
Step 10: Again switch off your Galaxy Star Pro Duos to boot it into stock recovery mode. To do so, hold the Home button (Middle button) + Volume Up + Power button simultaneously until the recovery mode appears.
Step 11: In the android stock recovery, navigate to the ‘Wipe data/factory reset’ option and ‘Wipe Cache partition’ option & select them to clear all the data and caches from your phone memory.
Step 12: Return and restart your Galaxy Star Pro Duos by selecting ‘reboot system now’ option.
Note: If the process fails, then just try to implement all the steps with Odin3.07. Use the PDA tab in place of AP in it.
Finally! You have successfully flashed the Official Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean XXUANF1 firmware on your Samsung Galaxy Star Pro Duos GT-S7262. You may confirm it from Menu->Settings->About Phone.
