Install Android 8.1 Oreo-based LineageOS 15.1 custom ROM on Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000. Recently the Lineage community has developed its latest build, especially for the aged Galaxy Note device. All credit goes to the recognized developer Bauner.
This is certainly not an official firmware by Samsung since the device is incompatible with the newly launched versions. Samsung stopped providing firmware updates for this phone. The last software update it received was Android 4.1.2 Jelly bean OS.
This was really disappointing until the third party developers came into action. Various Android developers took an initial step and started releasing Galaxy Note N7000 custom ROMs.
Thus the Galaxy Note users could enjoy and experience all those latest and advanced features on their phone. This LineageOS 15.1 is based on Android 8.1.0 Oreo operating system.
That means you can feel the all-new Android Oreo features on your Galaxy Note smartphone. Some of the LineageOS features include refurnished Google home with new launcher, notification manager, redesigned quick office app, full-screen immersive mode etc.
Talking about the Galaxy Note GT-N7000 specs, it comes with Dual-core 1.4 GHz Cortex-A9 processor. Moreover, it features 32 GB of internal storage with 1 GB of RAM. Besides, it packs 8 MP of rear camera and 2 MP of front shooter for selfies.
Note that this nightly build custom ROM is completely stable and lag-free. Still, if you come any bug or issues, do contact us. Also, remember to install this unofficial Lineage OS ROM on GT-N7000 or GT-N7000B. Flashing this software upgrade on any other device can brick your phone.
