This Lineage OS 15.1 ROM is compatible only with Samsung Galaxy Core Prime having model number SM-G360H. Flashing this ROM on any other device or variant might brick your phone. So go to Menu–>Settings–>About phone and check your device’s model number.
- Ensure that your Galaxy Core Prime is charged at least up to 60%.
- Backup all your important data such as contacts, messages, call logs, apn settings, notes etc. Use any app from Google Play Store for doing so.

Procedure to install Android 8.1.0 Oreo on Galaxy Core Prime:
Step 1: Download both the zip package files on your computer. Do not extract them.
Step 2: Now using USB cable connect your phone to computer. Enable mass storage mode and transfer the downloaded zip files to your phone.

Step 3: Disconnect your phone from PC and switch it off completely. Then boot your phone into TWRP recovery mode.
Note: Recovery mode can be entered by pressing & holding Volume up + Home button (middle button) + Power button together till you land into recovery.
Before flashing any custom ROM it is necessary to backup your current ROM. The same can be done by using nandroid backup. This nandroid backup is the backup of your entire operating system. It is always helpful during the failure of any flashing process.

Step 4: From the main menu of TWRP recovery, select the Wipe option.
Step 5: On the next screen swipe right to initiate the factory reset process.
Note: This step will wipe out the data on your phone memory so make sure you have backed up everything before performing this step.
Step 6: Let’s flash the Android 8.1 Oreo ROM now. For that select the Install option from the TWRP main menu. This will show you all the files and folders present on your phones memory.
Step 7: Just navigate to the Android 8.1 Oreo based Lineage OS 15.1 ROM which you’ve copied earlier and select it. On the next screen just swipe right to initiate the flashing process.
Step 8: The flashing process will hardly complete in a minute. As soon as it finishes, you’ll see a successful message on the screen.
Step 9: After successful flashing of ROM, install the Google Apps.zip file which contains Google Play Store, Google Maps, Gmail, Gtalk etc.
Step 10: After implementing everything as mentioned above just restart your phone by selecting the Reboot->System option present on the TWRP recovery mode itself. The first boot will take time to load.
