Install Android 5.1.1 Lollipop on Galaxy Mega 6.3 Sprint L600

November 16, 2023

Update Galaxy Mega 6.3 Sprint L600 to Android 5.1.1 Lollipop ROM. Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 Sprint SPH-L600 has an enormous 6.3-inch screen which certainly gives tough competition to Galaxy Note 3, LG L2, Sony Xperia Z Ultra, and many high-end smartphones.

This smartphone is so large that it’s difficult to carry around. But if you want to experience a tablet-like view then this is the phone for you. It was launched with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean but the good news is that Samsung has recently launched an Official Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for this device.

I have no idea whether Samsung will launch the latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update for this phone or not. But if you have no patience and want to try Android 5.1.1 Lollipop on your Galaxy Mega 6.3 Sprint L600 then you need to flash an unofficial custom ROM launched by third-party developers.

  1. Do you think this will work on the U.S. cellular 6.3 mega? I have seen that the parts are interchangeable between the two and they both are cdma. On the inside back of my phone it has the model number L600 and R960.
