How to Unlock Bootloader of Realme 5
Here, we’ll unlock the bootloader on Realme 5 using the In-Depth Test app as well as ADB & fastboot commands. Remember that this is an official bootloader unlock process from Realme.
This process of unlocking the bootloader is risky. Kindly apply the steps given below carefully. We will not be held responsible for any damage whatsoever.
Make sure to charge your Realme 5 to at least 50% to avoid interruption.
This process will delete your complete phone data. Hence ensure to make a backup of your contacts, apps, messages, accounts etc.
To recognize your phone, install the latest Realme 5 USB drivers on PC.
Temporarily disable antivirus and firewall on your computer.
Steps to Unlock Bootloader of Realme 5
Step 1: Go to phone Settings.
Step 2: Open About Phone.
Step 3: In the About phone section, click 7 times on the Version info to unlock developer mode. A countdown message saying, “You’re 4,3,2,1 steps away from being a Developer” will appear.
Click on the Version until a message saying, ”You are now a developer” appears as shown below.

Step 12: Now tap on Start the in-depth test option.
This will restart your Realme 5 automatically into Fastboot mode as shown below:

Step 13: Download ADB drivers.
Step 14: Install these downloaded ADB drivers on your PC.
Step 15: Keeping your phone into Fastboot mode, connect it to PC through USB cable.
Step 16: On your PC, open C:\Program Files\Minimal ADB and Fastboot folder (where you’ve installed the ADB and fastboot). Then by holding the shift button of your keyboard, right-click on space. From the list, choose the Open command window here option. This will open the command prompt window as shown below.
Step 17: In the cmd window, type the following command and press the enter key:
Some random numbers will appear in the cmd window. This will confirm that Realme 5 is successfully connected to your computer.
Note: If such a thing doesn’t happen then re-install Realme USB drivers. Also, install ADB drivers again. If the problem persists, change the USB cable or port.
Step 18: Let’s start the Realme 5 bootloader unlock process now. For doing the same, type the below command:
fastboot flashing unlock
Note: Especially for Windows 10, type the following command and hit enter:
./fastboot flashing unlock ”
As soon as you press the enter key, the Realme 5 unlock bootloader process will start.
On the other hand, a message will popup on your mobile as shown below:
Note: On this screen, use Volume keys for navigation and Power key for selection.
Step 19: So using Volume keys go to Unlock the Bootloader option and select it using Power key.
