At first, it was the Galaxy Note 10+ Verizon and LTE variant, which received this latest Android update. And now Galaxy Note 10+ Indian version is updated as well. Here, we’ll use Odin flash tool in order to install Android 10 N975FXXU1BSL7 official firmware update on Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus SM-N975F smartphone.

Install this Android 10 software update only on Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus having model number SM-N975F. Flashing this firmware on any other device might brick it.
- To minimize the risk of interruption, charge your mobile 50% or more.
- Take complete backup of your phone data and settings since everything gets deleted in the last step.
- Install Samsung USB drivers on PC so as to detect your phone when connected via USB cable.
- (Optional) Temporary disable all the security tools as well as antivirus on your PC.
Steps to install Android 10 on Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus :
Step 1: Download Android 10 firmware.
Step 2: Extract the downloaded zip file on your PC.
Step 3: Then switch off your device and restart it into downloading mode.
Step 4: For that, press and hold Volume Down button + Power Button simultaneously.
Leave both the keys as soon as you see the following screen.
Step 5: Just hit Volume Up key to continue.
This is how you can boot Galaxy Note 10 Plus into download mode.
Step 6: Go ahead and connect your phone to PC via USB cable.
Step 7: Download Odin3-v3.13.1.
Step 8: Open the ‘Odin3-v3.13.1′ flash tool.
Then, confirm whether the ID: COM section turns light blue or not. Also verify whether an Added message appears or not.
Note: If such thing doesn’t happen then re-install Samsung USB drivers. If the problem still persists, change USB cable or USB port.
Step 9: Check Auto Reboot and F.Reset Time options now.
Note: Do NOT any other options.
Step 10: Now tap on the BL button and browse and select ‘BL’ file from the extracted firmware.
Step 11: Similarly tap the CP button and select firmware file with CP in its name.
Step 12: Next, click on CSC button and open firmware file with ‘HOME_CSC’ in its name.
Note: HOME_CSC contains instruction that allows Odin to only wipe cache while Normal CSC contains an instruction to wipe out complete data. But when a downgrade is done (example: from Q back to Nougat) a factory reset is must. So use normal CSC at that time.
Step 13: Finally click the AP tab and open ‘AP’ file from the extracted firmware.
Note: The AP file will take little time to load. Hence wait.
Step 14: Let’s initiate Galaxy Note 10 Plus Android 10 firmware flashing process now. Hence, simply press Start button on Odin software.
This will start the Android 10 Galaxy Note 10 Plus firmware flashing process.
Note: Your phone will automatically reboot now. Do not disconnect it from PC.
As soon as the flashing completes, the ID: COM section will show a Pass message. This will confirm that your Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus SM-N975F is successfully upgraded to official Android 10 Q N975FXXU1BSL7 firmware.
Note: If Odin fails, then close it, again boot your phone into download mode and repeat the process again.
