In this guide, we’ll download and flash latest official Android 9 Pie Stock firmware on Samsung Galaxy S10+ SM-G975F. This firmware is based on Android version 9 Pie with build number G975FXXU1ASE7. Note that this is an Indian OTA update with May 2019 security patch. We’ll use Odin flash tool to manually install Android Pie ROM file on PC. Install this software update only on Samsung Galaxy S10+ having model number SM-G975F. If you try to flash this stock update on any other device or variant, then it might brick your device. Hence, confirm your device model number before performing anything.
- It is recommended to charge your mobile at least 50% in order to avoid any interruption.
- This process will wipe out your phone data and settings completely. So backup your contacts, apps, messages, call logs, notes etc. Use any backup app from Google Play Store.

Step 1: Download Android 9 Pie firmware.
Step 2: Extract the downloaded firmware file on your PC.

Step 4: Now boot it into downloading mode. For doing so, press and hold Volume Down key + Power Button simultaneously.

Step 12: Then tap on CSC button and open firmware file with ‘HOME_CSC’ in its name.
Note: HOME_CSC contains instruction that allows Odin to only wipe cache while Normal CSC contains an instruction to wipe out complete data. But when a downgrade is done (example: from Pie back to Nougat) a factory reset is must. So use normal CSC at that time.
Step 13: Finally click on AP button and select ‘AP’ file from the firmware package.
Note: The AP file will take little time to load. So wait and be patient.
Step 14: In order to initiate the firmware flashing process, hit the Start button present on the Odin tool.
This will initiate the actual Android 9.0 Pie firmware flashing process on Galaxy S10 Plus.
Note: As the process goes on, your device will boot itself automatically. Do not disconnect it from PC.
As soon as the installation process completes, the ID: COM section will show a Pass message. This will confirm that your Samsung Galaxy S10+ SM-G975F is successfully upgraded to official Android 9 Pie G975FXXU1ASE7 firmware.
